Pour-over is the simplest way to make a clean, flavourful cup. Start with a 1:16 ratio — about 22g of coffee to 350g of water. Grind medium-fine, rinse your filter, and add the grounds.
Bloom by pouring just enough water to saturate the grounds and wait 30 seconds. Then pour in slow, steady spirals, keeping the water level consistent. Aim for a total brew time of 2:30 to 3:00.
Use a gooseneck kettle for control and a digital scale to keep ratios repeatable. Small changes in grind size make a big difference — adjust finer if your cup tastes weak, coarser if it tastes bitter.
